It depends on where the clog is and what's causing it. Our plumber checks the drain and gives you an upfront on-site price before any work starts, so you approve the cost first.

We don't recommend them. Harsh chemical cleaners rarely clear the full blockage and can damage older pipes and fixtures. Mechanical cleaning removes the clog instead of burning a hole through it.

If the tank itself is leaking, it needs replacing. If it's a part like a thermostat, element, igniter or valve, repair is usually worthwhile. We'll give you both options and prices on site.
